When you use the Hair Profile Decoder™, we collect:
- Your email address (provided voluntarily to receive your profile)
- Your quiz answers (hair characteristics, history, and preferences)
- Your first name if provided
- Technical data including IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically when you visit our site
3. How we use your data
We use your data to:
- Generate and deliver your personalised Hair Profile
- Send you follow-up guidance emails via KIT (ConvertKit)
- Improve the accuracy of the Hair Profile Decoder™ over time
- Communicate with you about Dream Luxe Hair products and updates
We do not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Legal basis for processing
We process your data on the basis of your consent (given when you submit your email address and quiz answers) and our legitimate interest in providing and improving our service. You may withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing or contacting us.
5. Who we share your data with
We use the following third-party services to operate this product:
- Supabase — database and authentication (data stored in EU region)
- KIT (ConvertKit) — email delivery and marketing automation
- Lovable / Anthropic — AI infrastructure used to generate your profile
We do not sell your personal data to any third party under any circumstances.
6. How long we keep your data
We retain your quiz answers and profile for as long as you have an active account or have not requested deletion. Email marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion of all your data at any time.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk

8. Cookies
